The T-Bar prevents the deformation of the structure from the bending loads applied to the marine vessels (offshore structures). It has a symmetrical structure and is used more than angle because it has less torsional deformation for uniform load generated in the center. In addition, since T-Bar is welded after cutting on a flat plate, the T-Bar can be manufactured freely without any limitations than the angle.

Since T-Bar is assembled with one set of web and face plate members, it has higher strength than angle, and it is used a lot for light weight of the hull.
